Anna Raney

Anna is a master’s student under the supervision of Dr. Jacob Westhoff at the University of Missouri School of Natural Resources. She graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2020 with a B.S. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. Before joining the Aquatic Diversity Lab, she helped conduct freshwater mussel surveys as a field technician for the Georgia Department of Natural Resources. She is currently researching the invasion of the Woodland Crayfish and changes in the distribution of two endemic crayfish species in the upper St. Francis River drainage. Her broader interests also include the life history and environmental ecology of aquatic invertebrates.
